College of Education Dean’s Speaker Series Continues
Dr. Peter D. Blanck, University Professor and Chair from Burton Blatt Institute Centers of Innovation on Disability, Syracuse University, will present “American Disability Law and Policy in Transition” on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m.

Blanck’s lecture, in Room 549 of EKU’s Student Services Building, is part of the College of Education Dean’s Speaker Series. Blanck is a board member of the National Organization on Disability and of Disability Rights Advocates, has represented clients before the U.S. Supreme Court in ADA cases and has testified before Congress.

The event is free and open to the public.

On Tuesday, March 4, longtime rights advocate Leslie Lederer will present "The Student-Directed Individual Education Plan" at 7 p.m. in SSB 549. Lederer is the Disability Rights Advocate for Children and Youth Team, Kentucky Protection and Advocacy, and president of the Kentucky TASH chapter.
