Alumni Relations Director Earns International Award |
Jackie Collier, director of Alumni Relations at EKU, recently received the 2008 Circle of Excellence Silver Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education for District Conference Promotions. |
CASE, an organization which focuses on providing education professionals in alumni relations, communications and fund raising with essential tools to advance their institutions, gave two awards in the category this year – one silver and one bronze.
CASE Circle of Excellence Awards recognize outstanding efforts in institutional advancement. This international awards program is open to all CASE members worldwide and provides an opportunity to showcase innovative, exciting, and effective programs and projects in more than 40 categories – from fundraising efforts and alumni relations projects to publication/Web design and advancement services programs.
Collier, who joined CASE in 1980, was recognized for the “Take 5” CASE District III conference promotions program, which she co-chaired. Collier has served on District III board, conference and program committees in various capacities, including serving on the Commission on Alumni Relations at the international level. She currently serves on the District III board.
