Faculty Member Named to CPA Leadership Academy |
Mary Beth Holbrook, a visiting instructor in Eastern Kentucky University’s Department of Accounting, Finance and Information Systems, is one of 24 Kentucky Society of CPAs (KyCPA) members selected to participate in the organization’s third annual Leadership Academy.

The academy, specifically designed to train future leaders to effectively communicate and execute business strategies, kicked off with a Sept. 22-23 session in French Lick, Ind. Participants, who include KyCPA members from diverse professional backgrounds, are required to attend three additional training sessions: Oct. 23-24 in Covington; Nov. 20-21 in Louisville; and Dec.18-19 in Nashville, Tenn.
The program, limited to 24 participants, followed a nomination process wherein each candidate submitted an application reviewed by the KyCPA Leadership Academy Task Force.
