Grants Awarded

Teresa Belluscio, Student Judicial Affairs, was awarded $13,112 from the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for the Project Success Planning to Win Program to develop and support the transitions programs for students with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, and other cognitive disorders.

Sally Martin, English & Theatre, was awarded $65,000 from the Kentucky Department of Education to support the continued operation of the EKU Writing Project, a professional development program to help teachers improve as writers and teachers of writing.

Tim Matthews, Research and Service Center, was awarded $47,616 from the National Council on Crime and Delinquency to continue the evaluation of an evidence-based employment and re-entry program for at-risk youth in Florida.

David May, Safety, Security, and Emergency Management, was awarded $25,194 from the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice to perform an analysis of disproportionate minority contact in Madison County.

Colleen Schneck, Occupational Therapy, was awarded $10,500 from the Kentucky Occupational Therapy Board to conduct investigations of licenses occupational therapists.
