Professor Named KCA Counselor of the Year |
Dr. Connie Callahan, chair of the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology, was named Counselor of the Year at the recent Kentucky Counseling Association conference.

The award symbolizes recognition of excellence both for accomplishments on the job and for service to the profession as a volunteer leader.
Callahan has been honored by KCA in the past for her record of leadership roles in several divisions, for her service as editor of the KCA Journal and for her work in helping schools prepare to deal with the increased need for school safety through delivered training and through school consultations on developing school safety plans.
