Dr. Sherwood Thompson, Dr. Roger Cleveland and Dr. Norman Powell will appear on Connections with Renee Shaw to talk about Mentors Instructing Students Toward Effective Role Models. The program seeks to recruit more males, particularly minority males, into the classroom as teachers.

Developed by Clemson University, the program focuses on addressing the shortage of African American male teachers in elementary schools.

The program will air on KET Kentucky at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27, and at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, and on KET 2 at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28.
