The tribute is an annual celebration sponsored by EKU and the Department of Military Science and Leadership to honor veterans of all branches of the military for their service to the nation.

All veterans are invited to participate in the Veterans March, during which they will escort their service colors through an honor cordon presented by EKU’s Pershing Rifles. The march will be accompanied by a medley of service hymns performed by the EKU Marching Colonels as part of their patriotic halftime presentation.

Veterans who wish to attend the game can obtain half-price tickets by contacting the Department of Military Science and Leadership at 622-1205. Ticket requests and money must be received by the Department by Monday, Nov. 3.

The game begins at 1 p.m., but veterans do not have to attend the game to participate in the halftime tribute. All veterans wishing to participate must be at the south gate at Hanger Field by 2:15 p.m. to be escorted to the assembly areas.
