EKU's Enhanced KAS Affiliate Status Allows Complimentary Memberships
EKU faculty, staff, administrators and students who have an interest in science are eligible for complimentary Kentucky Academy of Science annual memberships. KAS members may apply for numerous KAS research grants, submit manuscripts for publication in the peer-reviewed Journal of the Kentucky Academy of Science (JKAS), receive complementary electronic access to the JKAS and a free subscription to the KAS newsletter with news from the Kentucky science community, and enjoy discounted registration fees to KAS annual meetings.

Joining KAS as an Enhanced member is free, simple and quick to complete. Simply visit the KAS website, www.kyscience.org, click join, select pay and join online, complete the registration form (make sure to select YES to the enhanced option and input your Eastern Kentucky University e-mail address), and click submit. KAS members must activate their accounts as only activated accounts can access the Journal of Kentucky Academy of Science and KAS directory as well as register for the KAS annual meetings at the member discounted rate.

Note if you are already a KAS member, you do not need to re-register. All previous memberships for EKU faculty, staff and students will be updated for 2011.

If you have questions, contact KAS at executivedirector@kyscience.org.
