Price Named Interim Director of EKU Center for The Arts
Jill Price, director of conferencing and events at EKU for the past 10 years, has been named interim director of the EKU Center for the Arts.

Price will serve as a national search continues to find a successor to Center Executive Director Debra Hoskins, who resigned the post in June. Price indicated to the Center for the Arts Community Operations Board that she will not be a candidate for the permanent position.

A member of the Community Operations Board since its inception, Price has ample experience planning and staging local and national conferences and events for internal and external constituents of the University. In addition, she serves as an EKU representative on numerous community and civic organizations, including Leadership Madison County Board of Directors and the selection committee for Governor’s Scholars of Kentucky, as well as the Association for Continuing Higher Education National Conference Committee and the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors International. She also has served in several capacities within the Madison County school system.

“I have a great staff here, and I look forward to moving the season forward,” Price told the Board at its July 18 meeting.
