EKU's College of Education is co-sponsoring a Diversity Conference Feb. 12-13 on campus.
The event will feature sessions on Closing the Achievement Gap, Legal and Policy Issues, Nuts and Bolts of Differentiated Instruction, Cultural Issues in the Classroom, Working with Families and Communities, Education Equity, From Appalachia to Academia, Academic Success in High-Poverty Schools, and others.
Other sponsors/hosts are KECSAC, the Southeast/South Central Educational Cooperative, AmeriCorps, and the Kentucky Department of Education.
The cost is $100 per person, or $400 per team of five individuals from the same school or district. The cost includes two meals, two continental breakfasts, a best-selling book and all conference materials.
