Students, faculty and staff will have a chance to check out the latest Pontiac models from a local car dealer and enjoy music, games, prizes, a rock-climbing wall and free food.
EKU Pride Advertising will present “Go Your Own Way” from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the Powell Building. It’s all part of the student team’s efforts to win a second consecutive national championship in the National General Motors Marketing Internship Program competition. EKU finished first among an elite group of business schools in 2003.
The Pontiac Sunfire, Grand Prix and Vibe will be on display from event sponsor Sid Adams Pontiac-Buick-GMC Truck in Richmond. Numerous other local businesses and campus offices have provided additional donations.

The Kentucky Division of Emergency Management and EKU will host the 23rd annual Rescue School on campus. Among classes to be offered are Farm Rescue, Basic Rope Rescue, Underwater Search and Recovery, Crime Scene Preservation, FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Response System, and Working with the Civil Air Patrol.
