Dr. Joe Gershtenson, director of the Center for Kentucky History & Politics at EKU, right, presented the Center's Thomas D. Clark Award for Excellence in Kentucky History to Dr. Bill Ellis, Ellis, University Historian and Foundation Professor Emeritus, on Oct. 25. Ellis was on hand to speak at a program sponsored by the Center.
