EKU President Doug Whitlock is blogging during a two-week visit to Japan and Korea.

While there, the President will be strengthening and forging partnerships with various institutions and visiting with alumni and friends of the University.

"One of my priorities is to increase the opportunities for our students and faculty to engage in international experiences," Whitlock said.

While in Korea, Whitlock will speak at educational partner Daegu Haany University on "Globalization and the Stewardship of Place." This is the first visit to that part of South Korea by an American university president.
