The Division of Continuing Education and Outreach at Eastern Kentucky University is offering numerous workforce education classes throughout the University’s service region through the end of this year and beyond.
The OSHA 10-Hour Safety Training Program is available in Richmond, Danville, Corbin, Manchester, Lancaster and Somerset. For more information on courses offered through EKU’s OSHA Training Institute Education Center, visit www.ceo.eku.edu/osha.
EKU’s First-Line Supervision Certificate Program will be provided at two levels: Core Concepts I and Advanced Core Concepts II, both of which are three days each. Classes are offered at Richmond, Danville, Corbin, Manchester, Lancaster and Somerset. Also scheduled at the same six sites is a four-hour workshop, Interpersonal Communication in the Workplace.

Funds are provided by the EKU Office of Regional Stewardship to sponsor community participation in these training events for local government, schools and non-profit groups. The opportunity is limited to EKU’s 22-county service region, which includes Madison, Estill, Powell, Lee, Owsley, Perry, Clay, Leslie, Harlan, Bell, Knox, Whitley, McCreary, Wayne, Laurel, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Jackson, Casey, Lincoln, Boyle and Garrard counties.
