COMMUNITY EDUCATION: Introduction to Genealogy
Learn how to get started on a journey into genealogy, using resources available on- and off-line. The instructor will share common pitfalls and mistakes years of research have taught her. This course is designed to help the participant establish strategies to start accomplishing research goals, discern good and bad information, and ways to share that information with others. Judy Bruckner has researched her family lines for more than 30 years. With more than 10,000 people in her family tree, she has learned many tips along the way to help fellow researchers. Enjoy the thrill of discovering your ancestors and making your family history come alive! A $5 supply fee is payable to the instructor at the beginning of class. Ages 17 and older.
