CENTER FOR THE ARTS: Rose Barn Theater Presents "Steel Magnolias"
The Rose Barn Theater's first production in the black box theater in the EKU Center for the Arts features, appropriately, an entire cast with EKU connections.
The local theatre troupe will present “Steel Magnolias” Thursday, Jan. 10, through Sunday, Jan. 13. Performances are at 8 p.m. nightly, with an additional matinee at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13.
The six cast members are: April Schultz, former EKU student, Truvy; Sacha Pruitt, EKU English graduate, Annelle; Sarah Evans, EKU assistant director, P-12 School Partnership, M’Lynn; Brielle White, current EKU student, Shelby; Alice Jones, director, EKU Office of Sustainability, Ouiser; and Carol Siler, coordinator, Promotion and Development, WEKU, Clairee.
Tickets, all general admission, are $10 in advance (plus $1 online processing charge) or $15 at the door. Advance tickets may be purchased online at www.rosebarntheater.org.
