VETERANS AFFAIRS: Free ArtReach Project America Workshop for Faculty
The Office of Military and Veterans Affairs will offer 15 faculty members the chance to attend a free ArtReach workshop on March 8 at 9 a.m. in the Perkins Building. The workshops normally cost $85, but will be offered at no cost thanks to the OMVA and proceeds from The Journal of Military Experience.
Since 1999, The ArtReach Foundation’s mission has been to influence and assist, through creative expressive arts therapies, the growth and development of children and adults who have experienced the traumatic effects of war, violence, and/or natural disaster.
We hope that faculty members’ first interaction will not be their last and that they will consider joining the ArtReach team as trainers and help use the model with EKU students.
