IT: MS Windows Mandatory Patches Available
Today, Feb. 18, critical Microsoft updates are available for all Windows systems. You are strongly encouraged to install them at your earliest convenience, either today or tomorrow. This will involve restarting your computer.
Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 19, between 3:30 and 5:30, these patches will become mandatory. When this happens, the patches will be applied and your computer will restart, giving you a five-minute warning. In order for all the patches to be applied, it may take more than one restart.
If you are not on campus during this time frame, these patches will install the next time you are on campus.
