THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES: 2013 Production
The main goal of The Vagina Monologues is to educate and empower women and girls everywhere.
Show nights are Tuesday, Feb. 19; Wednesday, Feb. 20; and Friday, Feb. 22.
The SSB Lobby will be open for ticket sales at 6 p.m. each night; the doors to the auditorium will open at 6:30 and the show will start at 7.
The Vagina Monologues is a play written by Eve Ensler based on interviews that she did with all different types of women. The performance raises awareness about violence against women and encourages women and girls to celebrate their sexuality. It is the front of the organization VDAY which strives to eradicate violence against women and girls all around the world.
T-shirts and buttons will be available, so bring cash! All proceeds go to Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center and Hope's Wings Domestic Violence Shelter.
