Student W Drive Restructuring for Students Only
In order to enhance the security of student personal files, IT is restructuring the student W: drive space into personal storage plus student Web space – this does not affect faculty/ staff files or Web space.
Students’ current W: drive will become PRIVATE storage; none of those documents will be accessible via the Web. A WEB folder will be created within the student’s W: drive. Students need to move their entire Web content into this WEB folder for it to continue working. Files with personal information should NOT be moved into the WEB folder.
This change will go into effect on Friday, Nov. 6. For help, contact the IT Helpdesk at 622-3000.
