Camp U-ROC (Using Recreation to Overcome Challenges)
Camp U-ROC, co-sponsored by the Department of Recreation and Park Administration, the Madison County Breast Cancer Support Group and the Kentucky Cancer Program, is targeted at children 6 to 12 years old who have been impacted by cancer.
Participants will experience a Native American adventure on Nov. 20, featuring a scavenger hunt, a rock climbing excursion, making dream catchers, creating beaded jewelry and more! Be prepared for hot dogs and s’mores at the fire pit at the end of the night and an exhibition of skilled dancing from local Native American performers!
