Dorothy Sutton Poetry Reading Tomorrow
Professor Emerita of English and award-winning poet Dorothy Sutton will read from her new book of poems, "Backing Into Mountains."
Wendell Berry has called Sutton's poetry “full of intelligent feeling, and feeling intelligence.” Irish critic Elaine Casey praised these poems for their “accurate descriptions and imaginative language, as Sutton explores Kentucky settings with world-wide scope and universal appeal."
Wind Publications Editor Charlie Hughes recommended the book "for teaching purposes and, at this time of year, as a nice gift - especially for someone with Kentucky interests." Sutton is currently Poetry Co-Editor of EKU's Chaffin Journal.
