Roundtable Discussion: Incorporating Critical Thinking in a First-Year Course
Interested faculty and department representatives are invited to the GSD Round Table on Wednesday, Nov. 4, to learn more about GSD 101 Foundations of Learning, a QEP initiative. GSD 101 is a three-credit hour orientation course that incorporates Critical and Creative Thinking into a first-year experience class. Hear current instructors discuss the benefits of this course for their students, their disciplines and their own instruction. While you visit, enjoy a piece of pie and hear what happens when students are challenged through a critical thinking curriculum to explore, expand, evaluate and express!
